During my senior year of High School, I took a co-op course where I shadowed a variety of teachers from my High School. While taking this course I was able to help students proof-read their work as well as assist them with any questions they had. The types of teachers whom I shadowed were English teachers as well as the school Guidance Councellor. The reason as to why I would like to become a tutor is because I enjoy helping students with their work while at the same time, encourage them to do their best and to not hesitate to ask questions if necessary. Another reason that I would like to become a tutor is because once I have graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree, I will be going into Education.
